The MDG ATMe is a professional-grade atmospheric haze generator built on the lineage of MDG’s acclaimed ATMOSPHERE series. Designed specifically for demanding live production environments, the ATMe delivers a fine, consistent haze with an exceptionally long hang time, creating the ideal beam-enhancing atmosphere for moving lights, wash fixtures, and beam arrays without obscuring the stage or set.

At its core, the ATMe uses MDG’s proprietary Neutral fluid, which produces a clean, near-odourless haze that is safe for performers and audiences alike. Fluid efficiency is a standout characteristic: at 1.38 bar, consumption sits at just 55 ml/hr (among the lowest in its class), rising to 110 ml/hr at 2.76 bar for higher-density output. CO₂ consumption is equally measured, at 0.18 kg/hr and 0.36 kg/hr respectively, allowing extended run times from a single cylinder.

Features & Performance

Output is fully variable from 0–100%, with precise control available over DMX512 or RDM, making the ATMe a natural fit for automated lighting rigs and consoles that demand real-time atmospheric control. The unit reaches operating temperature in approximately 8 minutes and runs at a noise emission of just 45.4 dB in standard mode, making it well-suited to quiet theatrical environments, broadcast stages, and film sets where ambient noise is a critical concern.

MDG’s Automatic Purging System (APS™) actively clears the fluid pathway at shutdown, preventing residue build-up and reducing the risk of blockages between uses. This self-maintenance function significantly improves long-term reliability, an important consideration for back-to-back hire deployments across tours and multi-day events. The 2.5-litre onboard reservoir provides a practical run time without the need for constant fluid top-ups during a show.
