About the LumenRadio Aurora

The LumenRadio Aurora is a professional single-universe wireless DMX transceiver built around LumenRadio’s industry-leading CRMX technology. Designed for demanding live production environments, it combines CRMX, W-DMX G3/G4s, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth into one compact, robust unit, making it one of the most versatile wireless DMX nodes available to lighting professionals today.

Operating across the 2.4 GHz band (2402–2480 MHz), the Aurora delivers wireless DMX/RDM transmission with a range of up to 1000 m, 5 ms latency, and 128-bit encryption. Forward error correction ensures signal integrity is maintained even in RF-congested environments such as arenas, festivals, and multi-stage outdoor events.

Flexible Power & Mounting

The Aurora accepts both 100–240 V AC via powerCON TRUE1 and DC via barrel connector, with an optional V-Lock battery mount accessory for fully portable, cable-free deployment. Whether flown on a truss, rack-mounted at FOH, wall-mounted in a permanent install, or run on battery power at a remote location, the Aurora adapts to the demands of the rig. Its durable aluminium enclosure is built to handle the rigours of touring and repeated hire use.

Production Use Cases

The Aurora is equally at home on large-scale concert tours, theatre productions, corporate events, film and television sets, and architectural installs. Its compatibility with CRMX and W-DMX G3/G4s ensures seamless interoperability with a broad range of wireless-enabled fixtures and existing LumenRadio ecosystems.
